Brief Description: 

Deadpool and the Punisher fight, but are interrupted by the police and end up in a river. The Punisher takes off his costume and cuts Deadpools leg, rendering him unconscious. Costume and blood mix, letting the police think the Punisher killed. Peter Gnucci is happy, with the Punisher gone, he now inherits Ma Gnucci’s fortune. He goes to his bank and collects a check over 300 million dollars, but outside drops the check. He runs after it on the street and is run over by a truck. Deadpool awakes tied up at the Punisher’s place. He frees himself with aknife and again they fight all over the city. Finally they crash through a window of a TV shop, right as the news broadcast Peter’s death. Deadpool now without employer backs down and apologizes, only to receive a TV set on his head by the angry Punisher, who then leaves. Later Deadpool feels alone and meets with Vanessa for a romantic date.

Full Summary: 

Deadpool is standing on a rubber dinghy, pointing his rifle at the Punisher in the water before him. Again he talks too much to fulfill the job, namely killing the Punisher, as the police arrives to arrest both of them. The Punisher uses the short distraction to pull a knife and cut the raft from below, making Deadpool drop the rifle and both of them being pulled under the surface again.In the river Deadpool pulls a gun and shoots the Punisher in the gut, but he is wearing a bulletproof costume. Deadpool then points the gun to his head, but before he can fire they both have to evade bullets fired by the police. They sdive away, and Deadpool wonders why the Punisher takes off his shirt, but wthen he pulls his knife again and cuts Deadpools leg, who then slips into unconsciousness. On the river surface blood and costume mix, making it seem as if the police shot the Punisher.
Later the Punisher’s death is reported on TV, and even one police officer claims to be the one who shot him. At home Peter Gnucci cheers, with the Punisher gone, he will inherit Ma Gnucci’s fortune.
In the Punisher’s hideout, Deadpool comes around, he is tied up, and hanging upside down from teh ceiling. The Punisher slaps Deadpool in the face and demands to know everything that Deadpool can provide on the Gnucci family. Deadpool starts to talk, and talk, and talk, while secretly pulling a knife to try and cut the ropes. He’s still talking when the Punisher is fed up with him and beats him. Deadpool still tied falls from the ceiling, but then finally cuts the last ropes and throws the knife at the Punisher’s gut.
Another fight starts, they fall through the window a few stories down on the street, but continue to go at it. A local shop owner favours the Punisher, because he was once rescued by him and hands him his gun. Deadpool derived of any weapons grabs a vespa and attempts to escape, but the Punisher shoots at the tires. Deadpool spots a cable car, and enters it, while the other passengers all leave. In mid air, the Punisher shoots the cables and Deadpool crashlands.
Peter Gnucci is at the Southern bank and has just been handed a check over 300 million dollars, the full amount of Ma Gnucci’s estate. He leaves with two bodyguards, but outside he drops the check and it is blow away by the wind. Peter runs after it and even jumps over a car to grab it again. Holding it again, Peter thinks how stupid he was, as he could have asked the bank to write him another check. It turns out to be his last thought, as he is hit by a truck.
Deadpool crawls out of the wreckage and continues to fight the Punisher, who kicks him into the window of a TV store. Some of the TV’s are switched on, and the news report the death of Peter Gnucci, who was hit by a truck and then impaled on the Wall Street Bull’s horn. Deadpool stops the fight, with Gnucci dead, there is no way to receive payment for the job. He apologizes to the Punisher, but he gets quite angry and drops a TV on Deadpools’s head before walking off.
Later Deadpool sits alone in the warehouse and realizes that he misses Vanessa. One hour and one image inducer later, Deadpool (looking like Peter Parker) knocks at the door of Vanessa’s appartment, with some flowers in his hands. As she opens, he says : “Face it, Vanessa, you just hit the jackpot.“

Story Notes: 

The last page is a homage to the first meeting of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson in Amazing Spiderman #42. Back then it was MJ who spoke the famous words : “Face it, tyger, you just hit the jackpot.“
