Full Summary:

(Ca 20 years in the past)

Charles and Magnus are sitting in a bar in Haifa, Israel, drinking shots of vodka. They discuss whether or not Homo sapiens superior would be able to live in harmony with the human race. Xavier believes this so but Magnus disagrees. However they both agree that the new race will get along fine and that they are glad they have become friends. A war veteran with no legs finishes playing a flute and the crowd in the bar applauds, he thanks them for the applause and asks for them to give him any spare change. Money is thrown on the floor and then a very large man pours his beer over the veteran. Xavier tells him to leave the cripple alone but he doesn't listen. He grabs the large mans arm and asks again. Magnus gives the barman money for damages whilst Xavier pins the large man to a table by holding a nerve point on his wrist. One of the friends of the large man attempt to attack Charles however, thanks to his mutant power, he predicts what is about to happen and stops him with a kick to his jaw. The rest of the group joins in as does Magnus. After a short while the only two left standing are Charles and Magnus and they stroll out the pub together in high spirits.
(present)

Cable and Jean Grey have been strapped into a giant construct built with Shi'Ar technology. The idea being that is augments the powers of all psis present, so that while Jean holds his physical body together by telekinesis, Xavier can telepathically jumpstart Cable's latent ability of timetravel (like Rachel has), and send him back in time to remind the missing X-Men that they need to stop Legion. They start up the machine and after a short delay, a giant beam shoots into the sky, while Rogue, Gambit and Archangel can do nothing but watch.
(Ca 20 years in the past)

In Israel, the missing X-Men are working on the dockyard. They take a break for lunch and hide inside a warehouse. They get angry with each other, as they are unable to unlock the secrets in their minds.
Elsewhere on a boat Charles and Magnus talk about Xavier's relationship with Gaby. Charles is worried about not being ethical with falling in love with a patient, however Magnus disagrees and tells him life is too short, where upon they decide to head to the hospital after getting of the boat.
At the hospital Gaby is sitting in the courtyard and Legion, who thinks she might be his mother starts to approach her. Gaby turns around and Charles is standing next to her (This is actually Legion who has transformed himself to look like Charles). Charles talks, but he seems different, he then starts to kiss and seduce Gaby, telling her not to call him Charles tonight.
Charles and Magnus get of the boat and talk about the future as they pass by Bishop who is carrying goods onto the boat. Charles suddenly falls to his knees and tells Magnus that something is wrong. He screams out Gaby's name and the pair run for the Hospital. Bishop puts the box he was carrying down on the boat when suddenly a flash of light hits the ground in front of him. Cable appears and although slightly dizzy attempts to reach out for Bishop. Storm, Iceman and Psylocke try to protect Bishop from Cable, as they don't recognize X-Force's leader, but Bishop thinks him somehow familiar. Cable manages to touch Bishop and tries to tell him who they are. The light surrounding Cable crackles like lightning and hits the others before he finally disappears.
Back at the Hospital Charles and Magnus find Gaby on the floor with her clothes all ripped. Before they can ask her what's happened, Legion appears behind them and tells Magnus that he is going to die.

Story Notes:

The Issue is named Part 3 of the Legion Quest crossover, however only the core x-books were numbered, but X-Factor #109 and Cable #20 are equally part of the event.
One of the questions that this issue raises is whether Legion raped his own mother. Although it is not known for sure, it is implied by Gaby's torn clothes and the expression of her face in the final panels of the issue.
