Hasbro ToyFair 2010

Our very own Ben Urich, MilleniumCyke, headed across to the ToyFair 2010 to find out what Hasbro were up to and whether or not this would be the year he got his hands on a Super Hero Squad M.O.D.O.K.. Turns out not only did he get to see a  Mental Organism Designed Only for Kissing but also he got pics showing that the Devourer of Worlds was on his way.

Deadpool Invades UXN

Necrosha wraps up early

... at least for the UXN. While the crossover still continues in the x-books, the Necrosha theme that we've been running for the past three months on our website has come to an end with the release of the Spotlight On... entry on Caliban. Week after week, you have found some detailed information on one of the protagonists of Necrosha or another mutant who has recently come back from the dead. Necrosha - week 13

There remains one member of Selene's Inner Circle whose life we have not explored. Unlike the others, his is an unfamiliar face. His malignant history is anything but. Of all of Selene's minions, the threat he poses is perhaps the largest, both to the X-Men -- and maybe even to Selene herself. But who is this man? How did he obtain such power? Or, as Wolverine once put it: "Who the hell is Eli Bard?"

Necrosha - week 12

Selene's current plans involve resurrecting the dead and unleashing them against her enemies. Seeing the dead return from their graves is pretty horrific, but for Marvel's merry mutants... not so unusual. For the X-Men, death and resurrection is just another element of their extraordinary lives. Like the phoenix, these mutants often die only to be miraculously reborn.

Their demises come in great variety: sudden death and nearly immediate resurrection by cosmic forces, feigned deaths that leave the world believing them dead and on rare occasions, deaths that seem final everlasting. Keeping track of which X-Men are dead and who's returned from the great beyond can be a challenging task. Luckily, we've done the hard work for you and compiled the definitive X-Men Death Chart.

Necrosha - week 11

In Blink the Black Queen recruited a deadly teleporter for her Inner Circle, which is reason enough to believe that she might have been interested in adding Illyana Rasputin to her ranks as well. However, Belasco was ahead of the Selene, and had already arranged his apprentice's resurrection before the Black Queen could even ponder doing so. Frankly, in her current soulless state, Illyana would be of no use to Selene, as it's the deceased mutants' soul energy that she's been feeding on. Read the updated Spotlight On... entry of Magik I.
