I'm loving Uncanny X-force obviously, but lets say the book gets a cast shake up who do you pick?

1. A member of Uncanny X-force
2. A member of K&Y's X-force
3. A member of the original X-force
4. An X-man/woman from the JGSGS
5. An X-man/woman from Utopia
6. A wildcard (literally anyone you want)

I'll start.

1. Fantomex
2. Wolverine
3. Cable
4. Frenzy
5. Psylocke
6. Punisher

I feel that's a team with a lot of potential for awesome, but also a lot of moral conflicts and differing oppinions. The Punisher especially as a tenuous ally would be interesting. We haven't seen him really weigh in on mutant matter which would be good to see.

1. Fantomex
2. Domino
3. Boom-Boom
4. Kid Omega
5. Magik
6. Marrow

I had the hardest time picking a member from the original X-Force team, since there are so few of them I would want to subject to the horrors of contemporary X-Force. Shatterstar would be good, but I've already got a teleporter in Magik, and while I think Sunspot needs something to do, revelations about X-Force coming to light could ruin his career. Boom-Boom needs something to do, however, and although X-Force does some dark stuff, she clearly had no compunctions about committing terrorist acts of mass murder toward the end of that original run.

Can I use Kid Omega even though he's technically a student at the Jean Grey School? He'd eat this up.

Marrow, while the least powerful of the group, especially in her remnant state, would be good to have around purely for ferocity. I always thought she'd make a good addition to this group. Punisher is a brilliant pick though.
Why am I even listening to you to begin with? You're a virgin who can't drive.

THis lineup wouldn't even be hard to see...maybe getting Frenzy in might be difficult if Gage doesn't want to lose her but it could work.

And as long as Frank still has the eye patch on, I'm down for him to work alongside X-Force.

And really Rucka's one of the few writers who could continue after Remender. The focus might not be as grand but it would sure as hell be dark, well written, and intriguing.

I think Rucka's Frank would work really well, where as old Frank might not. I really want to see the Punisher's take on mutant issues. I think he'd be no mercy on mutant terrorists, but also the same for human terrorists like the Purifiers. I think you'd have interesting situations where he'd be both the good and bad guy in a moral conundrum. Like X-force would get upset from his summarily executing a surrendering bad guy. But in a situation like killing Kid Apocalypse, he'd plant his feet and refuse to let it be done.

I could also see Punisher and Cable comparing guns together and that would sweet.

I'd turn X-Force into a group of undead mutants, who have been given a new lease at life in return for their service as agents of Hell, who have to track down escaped souls.

6. A wildcard (literally anyone you want) - Risque
5. An X-man/woman from Utopia  -  Diamond Lil
4. An X-man/woman from the JGSGS - Banshee
3. A member of the original X-force  - Feral
2. A member of K&Y's X-force - Caliban (in his frail, weak body)
1. A member of Uncanny X-force - Archangel ?

The all wear black & gray versions of their previous costumes. Archangel's presence on this team would put into question who the new Angel at the JGS really is.... possibly somewhere down the line, the undead Archangel might be revealed as being the undead Changeling instead.

Occasionally they meet or run into some of the other mutant teams, which will always be awkward, as X-Force are not supposed to interact with their friends, and it might be odd for those formerly close to them. (especially Jeffries, Psylocke, Siryn and Warpath)

Punisher has indeed dealt with mutant terrorists, and terrorists posing as mutants, and anti-mutant terrorists before.  He's an equal opportunity murder dealer.  If you kill innocent people, whether those innocents are humans or mutants, he will kill you.  Simple.

1. A member of Uncanny X-force-- Fantomex-- I never thought I'd see the day that I thought Fantomex would be a worthy member of a team, but I've grown to love him under Remender. I wouldn't ever see him leading the team, but I'd love to see him in more of a second-in-command kind of role.
2. A member of K&Y's X-force-- Vanisher-- A D-list villain who seamlessly transitioned into one of the break-away stars of K&Y's run. Not to mention, useful for quick escapes.
3. A member of the original X-force-- Domino-- Now here's our team leader. I think that she could be seen as very much like Psylocke-- someone who agrees with Cyclops' view overall, but who thinks that maybe he isn't quite willing to go far enough to protect the mutant race. I think she'd easily be able to run this team in Wolverine's absence, and she's well versed in espionage so I think it's not too hard a stretch to imagine her being able to pick up where Betsy would leave off.
4. An X-man/woman from the JGSGS-- Cipher-- Whilst I hate that this was a random character shoe-horned into a poorly executed book, her skill-set marks her as almost a given for this kind of team. She's perfect for espionage and she's so close to being a blank slate character that it doesn't really matter how she's written.
5. An X-man/woman from Utopia-- Random-- he's sitting around doing nothing on Utopia when he could have been put on Psylocke's security force. His background as a mercenary totally fits the MO of this group, and he could be a really interesting fit. As long as they retcon him secretly being a small child, anyway.
6. A wildcard (literally anyone you want)--Lady Mastermind-- The group needs a telepath, and with her not having qualms about killing, and her powerset in general, she could be incredibly useful on this team. She's morally ambiguous enough that she could easily be the character that suggests going for the kill rather than the hurt, and I'd like to see her have some of her past explored... besides, Mystique's been forgiven by the X-Men twice now, it'd be nice to see someone else get a shot at redemption too.

I'd staff this book with characters that have no crossover with other X-books.  This makes chronology easier to figure out for the UXN posters who so diligently try to handle that for us.

1. A member of Uncanny X-force
E.V.A.  Fantomex isn't a package deal this time.  He's dead.  Or rather, he transfers his consciousness into E.V.A., his body being otherwise irrecoverable.  This makes Fantomex a different kind of character now.  He's not a robot or an AI, still fully mortal and human.  But he has no facsimile human body with which to interact with the world around him.  Unlike Martha, who can simply possess people if she absolutely needs to say something, Fantomex can't do that -- being limited to the E.V.A. form.  So he has thoughts and feelings that he can't act on because his mind is still "alive" and can't leave the E.V.A. form without dying.  It also allows him to serve as an advisor with his unique views, and gives somebody else besides Pixie who's a mutant who never uses their powers.

2. A member of K&Y's X-force
Elixir: I don't want him to be the innocent one who everybody downplays, nor does he need to be silent and emo anymore.  What I see out of Elixir is somebody who's gone the way of Wither.  Somebody that they worried, will he enjoy using his powers the wrong way?  Here... yeah.  Bigtime.  Elixir isn't a bad guy, but he becomes a bad person, gleefully using his powers to torture people in ways that make Masque look like a carnival cartoon artist.  But he does it for a good cause, right?  And why would murder be okay but torture not okay?  Wolverine got away with physically and psychologically torturing Matsu'o for years.  Why should Elixir?  That would be what this appearance would deal with, answering that question.  At what point do you have to just stop somebody from being helpful for the cause.

3. A member of the original X-force
Cannonball.  As the leader, he's the one responsible for keeping them on point.  He's killed before and he's held back before, still tries to be a good person.  While he's around in at the school, he's not really a teacher.  He's just a guy who flies into things if there's a problem.  Sam's never really embraced that role so I figure to take him out of that and have him lead here, keeping the balance in fighting the good fight, recognizing that sometimes somebody just has to die, but not specifically seeking out those opportunities.  What he wants out of X-Force mainly is to go around and handle those issues that politically are too hot for mainstream superteams to touch.

4. An X-man/woman from the JGSGS
Mercury.  Did, like, everyone at Marvel forget that she's awesome?  I feel like they forgot she's awesome.  She's very useful for espionage, and since every X-team these days seems to need a teenage girl to be able to function, gotta go with Cessily here.

5. An X-man/woman from Utopia
Neophyte.  You wanna talk about espionage, there isn't a place he can't almost instantly be.  He can get through just about any substance and doesn't even need to reveal himself to gain critical info.  Besides, he seems nice enough; it's time the company let him redeem himself for all those Acolyte appearances.

6. A wildcard (literally anyone you want)
Tiamat -- pretty much impossible for him to be out on the street unnoticed, would spend a lot of time with E.V.A.  But this guy debuted by being willing and able to fight anybody and anything in order to save the planet from something that nobody even realized was a threat, and he did it without ever explaining himself or getting a thanks or "my bad" for heroes getting in the way.

1. Fantomex
2. Domino
3. Warpath
4. Gambit
5. Magik
6. Guido

I think this would be a good team because I think they'd all work well together - even though Magik is more of a loose cannon than most, but I feel like the team would embrace that instead of trying to repress it.  And given Guido's recent change of heart, so to speak, he'd fit well.

1. Psylocke
2. X-23
3. Domino
4. Cipher
5. Magik
6. Frenzy

Femme Fatale team with an amazingly complementary skill set for espionage, stealth, and kicking asses. Psylocke as team lead, the necessity of her skills on a team like this are well known. As are Domino's and X-23's. The 3 of them alone would be a match for nearly anyone. Add in Cipher's abilities that are basically made for a covert team -- since we know almost nothing about her, let's say she's also a tech whiz. Magik is team transport plus her formiddable fighting and magical abilities. Then Frenzy as the powerhouse, smart-ass, bruiser bringing up the rear.

2. Domino
3. Feral
4. Frenzy
5. Magik
6. Mentallo - I like the idea of a forced member ala Vanisher and this guy hasn't played much in the mutant sandbox, so why not.

I can see all these people being willing to kill. Others would too but these are my picks.

3. A member of the original X-force – Pete Wisdom
4. An X-man/woman from the JGSGS - Gambit
5. An X-man/woman from Utopia - Cyclops
6. A wildcard (literally anyone you want) – Sage

I think a black-ops extinction team would work. Lets see Cyke go under the radar for a while, and run a team from San Fran.

Psylocke – Team telepath, plus hardened warrior. She hates the fact that she’s become a killer, but it’s what her body is trained to do, and she worries that she’s starting to become immune to it

Domino – Well, obviously

Pete Wisdom – Every team needs a bit of sarcasm, he’s got good experience in black ops, and his powers can be stealthy, deadly and efficient.

Gambit – I can’t see being a teacher at the JGSGS will fit in well with his own series – I can see Gambit striking out on his own, and, if the price is right, joining Cyke’s team.

Cyclops – More desperate than ever after the end of AVSX, Cyclops decides to go undercover, and protect his people from the shadows.

Sage – Essentially a living computer, Sage is essential to the team. Not only that, but she’s handy with a gun, and has shown in the past that she’s a woman who will do whatever it takes to ensure survival

Not just that, but his armor.  Everything he takes into battle is a creature repurposed to serve as a mount or weapon or armor.  He'd be his own villain-murdering petting zoo.

Conflict of interest.  Hit Monkey kills killers.  At some point, he'd have to take out X-Force itself.
