John Morrison did some amazing spots during his WWE tenure. His performance at the 2011 Royal Rumble was just awesome.

John Morrison's 2011 Royal Rumble spot was cool. Not to be outdone, Kofi Kingston did an equally impressive spot to avoid elimination at this years rumble.

The Rumble has always been my favorite event in wrestling, so even though I don't follow wrestling super close any more I still try to catch the Rumble. That being said I wish I hadn't bothered this year because it stunk.
I am going to DVR Raw tonight. I'm sure there will be a ton of faces from back in the day showing up, so I'm down.
Also does anyone else think that Mr. Perfect and Billy Gunn had a baby and named it Dolph Zigler?

I decided to watch last weeks Raw. Why does everyone hate Big Show? I think he's great. I always have. He's a real work horse for the company and puts everyone over when he's asked to.
He does comedy and menace well

Raw 1000 was awesome tonight. The Brothers Of Destruction reuniting, Lita beating Heath Slater, The Rock, APA and CM Punks epic heel turn. We even seen an appearance of Mae Youngs hand, lol.

Great to see the DX Army return. Thought it may have been on the cards with Road Dogg on the pay-roll, and relations with X-Pac pretty cordial, but wasn't sure as last I knew Gunn still had problems with the WWE. Even if it is, as expected, a one-night only thing, it worked pretty well, and the crowd went mad!
I hope it's not a full-on turn for CM Punk. Though I would much rather see a Punk - Rock feud for the title, than a Cena - Rock rematch.
Shame the Hardyz are with TNA (or it Matt in rehab? Can't keep up with those two's drug problems), as they would've been great to see for the 1,000 aniversary. Also, was a bit surprised there was no Nash (or was there, only caught the highlights on wwe.com) - he's still under contract I thought.

I'm glad I watched last night. It was a pretty good show and as expected there were plenty of familiar faces to keep me inerested.

I've been wondering where Kharma is? The Divas division could really use her right about now, especially since WWE would prefer AJ as GM than as a wrestler.

I have thoughts on last night (and last week/WWE things I'd like to see which would keep me coming back/ things I'd like to see)
First up! Heath Slater! This guy I like and I really hope they do something with him continuing this whole thing. (I especially like how cocky he is despite always being beaten) 1) Keep having him fight legends, get a 'personal coach' in the shape of another legend...or just show him studying tapes, learning in each match until people ACTUALLY want him to win...then don't let him. Have him get closer each time until he manages to pull one out of the bag against a real LEGEND! (I'd love him to upset The Rock the week after he wins the title at RR. That's probably a bit far away though)
2) I like Heath Slater and I don't like the Goldberg 'feed me more man'...I find him dull and his fights pointless foregone conclusions so I want to put them together. The Monster on the winning streak and the cocky guy on a losing streak. I'd run it like Jericho Vs Goldberg back in WCW. I'd have Slater making fun of him, ducking every single fight etc etc make it so we actually look forward to him getting destroyed...actually run these two methods concurrently
DX- This segment went on a little too long if you ask me. It was nice to give a shout out to the past etc It was good they got a new guy involved though.
6-man tag- Was mostly pointless. Ziggler and Jericho I guess is happening and I'm okay with that. They seem to have some good chemistry and I take it Ziggler will go over in order to push him to main event. He seems entertaining in the ring too. I guess Rey and Del Rio is going to happen too, I don't mind them but I'm not bothered. I'd prefer he and the Sin Cara guy to tag (I like tag team titles and matches okay) or feud.
I don't like Brodus Clay, he bores me and his entrance takes too long...but I don't think I'm his target audience. I'd have this Swagger guy booked with AWP & The Prime Time Players, make a bit of a stable.
Bryan Daniel looks like he's going to fight Charlie Sheen...for some reason....make him a monster heel instead. Akin to Kurt Angle in the day, he's the man who takes joy in making you tap.
Why does the Rock have a title shot? Okay I know why but maybe give a story reason? I'd be happy with him fighting CM Punk or Daniels.
The Miz seems a good heel (I don't really know him) even thought I am a massive Christian fan. I imagine there could be some good matches and stories with him as a champ.
Paul Heyman is still me hero. Just give him some wrestlers to manage and a microphone and he's away. I'm happy with this.

Funny thing is there's that video where Al Snow says that all Ryback (Ryan Reeves) ever seemed to do when not actively wrestling was eat. Constantly. So you know how they say the best gimmick for you is your normal personality just dialed up to eleven. That would be him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HY3g4CGdM0

Miz isn't my favorite wrestler (far from it), but I like how emotional he gets when he wins titles. You can tell it means a lot to the guy and he cares about his craft. I must admit I marked out several times last night. I loved the APA back in the early 00's and it was nice to see both of them, I particually marked out over Undertaker and Kane whupping @$$. I had a hearty laugh seeing Mae Young with some guy in a hand suit, a nod to the hand she "gave birth" to back in 2000. I'm looking forward to CM Punk vs The Rock, if that indeed does happen. And a Daniel Bryan and Charlie Sheen feud would do nothing but help WWE in ratings and web buzz.

Punk is my hero. His body language was perfect as he showed a smart man being morally conflicted the entire time. Almost like when he was laying Rock out he was questioning if it was the best decision. Plays in perfectly to his gimmick as a smart wrestler who has a chip on his shoulder. Punk as the "It's MY TIME, I earned it" tweener versus Rock would be awesome.
As for Rock getting a title match? Well he did win in the main event of WM as his last match. I call that enough justification. We get worse from pro wrestling like "I came out and asked for one when no one else did". I just wish they weren't waiting so long. Sounds like a MMA bout. "Oh these two guys will fight in seven months when they get trained up." I get Rock has outside commitments but really? Survivor Series wasn't good for Dwayne?

My guess is he'll hold the title to wrestle mania before dropping it to give someone else the rub

This. It's not going to be CM Punk vs The Rock. It's going to be Phil vs Dwayne. Selling the match on anything else will be ridiculous.

This. Raw 1000 was fascinating to watch. Full of surprises and great trips down memory lane. I was hoping that the point of bringing out Stephanie and taking jabs at her and Triple H kids was to lead to Lesnar coming out with Sable and some sort of married couple confrontation.

Nope. It should definitely be about Punk vs "Dwaaaayne". Have Punk continuously drive home how much of a 'sell-out' Rock is (with none of the rabbit caught in the headlight admiration Cena had when he was trying to work the same angle), while he was busy winning and holding world champions. Sell how Dwayne gets a main-event ahead of the title fight every time he shows, because he's a Hollywood diva. As always, heels are always best when they're not too far away from telling the truth. Plus it'd keep Punk's fanbase who've seen him rise through the indies while Rock got everything dropped in his lap from day one and still is Vince's boy (maybe reference Rock's days as the 'corporate champ', something the Punk character never was). Let Punk actually punk out Rock on the mic. Keep the current fans entertained and bring in the casuals or old-timers who want to see Rock smash Punk's face in. And actually have the pay-off of Punk winning. Opens up another potential Cena / Punk feud of Cena wanting to prove he can get the job done which the Rock couldn't.

Apparently Eric Young has a fishing show on Animal Planet. Didn't know that, but maybe that's why he was growing the beard -- to look the part.
On another note, some peeps of mine were talking about the WWE Wellness Policy. So I said, Well, I almost don't want people to pass
the Wellness Test. Just because I imagine the way they tell people
that they failed is by having Ron Simmons walk out with a lab coat and
clipboard and go,
"........................................................... DAMN!"

Eric Young aka EY had the beard long before the fishing show thing. It was just something he did as part of his "going off the deep end again" gimmick he's been on for the past few years. The whole "look like I never look in the mirror" look with the thick beard and disheveled hair. Great individual look to help him stand out on the roster.
