Wish that it was closer to time for more info to come out, as these are candid interviews but there is only so much one can read about how the idea came about and the hopes of it without knowing any more real details of what books we got coming out of this.

Wow, some big spoilers in there concerning AvX!
I have to say Axel has made me even LESS excited for All New X-Men. So great to see that they're bringing Jean back and not changing a thing!

I'm not thrilled with these spoilers, but I'm glad to have had some questions answered.

I'm not sure if that thing about "Wolverine and Cyclops dealing with the woman they both loved" thing was a spoiler or the usual "Gonna pretend things will still be okay after this so that I don't actually spoil what we're doing with characters" type thing. Cause that came off to me more as the expected thing to say about Jean coming back, so as not to spoil if Cyke is even around, if he's dead, etc.

Caught that too.. if it is a spoiler, he just ruined a chunk of the ending of AVX, if it was just to pretend nothing is happening that makes it a bit different. but the fact that one group gets new leadership i presume is Scott and on the other team one members goes on a personal journey,...?

Yeah, I'm taking it as him and others are speaking sort of mixed around gibberish to mess with us. Like you mentioned Kanderson, I think most of us are presuming that Scott is the one that is out of leadership at least as the team getting a new leader, as we've seen Captain America still around in Uncanny Avengers and while he might not be leader anymore it needs to be bigger than just Cap not leading this one team to fit what they are saying. So I think they are just messing with our minds. They know we'll figure Cyclops so they speak about things with him as if he might still be there just to keep us frustrated or assuming they are spoiling and such.

I thought Havok was supposed to be leading that group of Avengers.

He is, but I say bigger as in Cap will no doubt still be leading in the bi-weekly 'Avengers' book and still be one of the 'big guns'. The X-Men losing Cyke fits more to the new leadership because the X-Men as a whole for the longest of time shared Cyclops as the big boss. Even with the Wolverine side leaving Cyclops is still seen as the big Kahuna of the mutants. So that would fit more into the big change for one team being a new leader i would think. It very well could mean Havok. To me at least it would be bigger impact to do the Cyke not leader route (whether dead or alive) as even if Cap doesn't lead one Avengers team that is nothing new as he doesn't lead the New Avengers or the Secret Avengers anymore.
