Does anyone know if the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a numerical designation?  Like how the universe we all read about is 616?  Have they established this yet?

Wikipedia claims that The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe (presumably the latest iteration) claims that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is #199999.

Seems weird that the Marvel films of the past 10-ish years would represent one homogeneous universe. Maybe the Avengers movies fit together, but how does this work with the X-Men, FF, and various Spiderman films?

The phrase "Marvel Cinematic Universe" (MCU) actually only refers to those films Marvel produced themselves, which is to say the Avengers oeuvre. Films based on Marvel properties made by other studios are not included, though some of those series have their own individual numbers as well:

• X-Men: 10005
• Fantastic Four: 121698
• Sam Raimi's Spider-Man: 96283

Others (Blade, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, the 2012 reboot of Spider-Man, etc.) are considered to take place in their own universes, but do not have specific numbers.
