so is FF like a back up or second tier Fantastic Four? sorry I dont read these titles so know nothing about them...

Future Foundation replaced Fantastic Four during its Johnny-Storm-is-dead hiatus. They basically functioned as the Future Foundation and not as the Fantastic Four. When Johnny returned to life, the group went back to superheroing as the FF. So now Future Foundation is kind of continuing the work but focused on the other ancillary characters + Val and Franklin.

So think of it as Uncanny X-men vol 1 and X-Factor 1st series, respectively.

Pre Marvel NOW! FF focuses on the Future Foundation kids: Franklin Richard, Valeria Richards, Leech, Artie, Alex Powers/Zero-G, Bentley (a kid clone of the Wizard), Dragon Man, Vii and Wuu (from the ancient Atlantean kingdom), Korr, Mik, Tong, and Turg (evolved Moloids), and now a Wakandan girl named Onome has just joined.

Post Marvel NOW! FF will focus on a replacement team (Ant-Man, She-Hulk, She-Thing, and Medusa...very lady heavy...I like) as they deal with protecting the world while the F4 are off in an adventure in space.

Hate Fraction's run on X-Men, love Bagley's run on...well, anything. His artwork is superb despite his ability to constantly hit a monthly schedule unlike many others. So don't know on that one.

FF however has no appeal for me with that cast. Like She-Hulk, but Ventura, Lang and Medusa don't hold much sway for me, espeically with Fraction.

Is that actually Sharon Ventura?  Where has this been announced?  It almost looks like that is an armor, as whenever she has been She-Thing, her face has been the same as the body.

It's not Sharon Ventura. It's 'Miss Thing' and the person in the Thing armor is a woman that Johnny was seeing the night before they left and he forgot to find someone to suggest for the team so he just comes up with the woman he was seeing that they are comparing to a Lindsey Lohan like actress type or something like that.

I would have loved if they had brought back Sharon Ventura instead of a woman in the suit, but alas that is not the way to go.

I don't read these titles, but if Sharon was brought back (in her Ms Marvel look as opposed to She-Thing) I would be interested in picking these up.
