So, this issue is probably the heart of this mini-series. There was a nice feeling of closure for some of the Ultimate characters, and Peter learns more about the differences between his and their reality. I really liked how the interaction between these characters was very natural and emotional, as opposed to feeling forced or overly sentimental. And adressing the existence of the two Nick Furies was a fun touch. Very good.

I've personally have been enjoying this little mini-series. The first issue was uneven but since then Bendis has knocked it out the park for me. This issue was as you said History, evenly balanced emotionally. The art was FANTASTIC and helped sell it all.

If there's one thing Bendis is good at, its Ultimate Spider-Man and talking issues.

Yeah, this is some of Bendis best work in quite a while.

I've actually been surprised by this. The first issue was just very poorly put together, but once everything became in the Ultimate Universe it's read much better. This is why Bendis just needs to stick to the Ultimate Spider-Man stuff. He does that exceptionally well. A talking issue of Ultimate Spider-Man is good. A talking issue of Avengers is a snorefest that borders on crap sometimes.
