Hi all,

So, apart from Marvel Omega, Marvel 2000 and our very own THOIN, it seems there is another site where some THOIN regulars post their fan-fic, yours truly among them.

There was an update yesterday, with a bunch of supernatural titles such as a Strange Tales introduction and titles continuing from that. We have The Defenders, the Midnight Sons and my very own Nightstalkers.

So, if your interested, have look at it at ma.bhyphen.com

I will read this eventually, Jan. I saw you are using Hannibal King, an observation which piqued my interest.

First scene has three or four grammatical errors which is much more than I often notice from you. I am interested though and as soon as I get some free time I'll hopefully remember to read the rest.

I will definitely try and read this. I'm already behind on a few THOIN titles, but I'll let you know when I do get around to it.

An update went up when I was on holiday including my YellowJacket #1!

This is a series and a character I've wanted to get my hands on for a while so everyone please go and have a look and a review :)

Yelllowjacket was really good. Hank Pym isn't a character that I normally like very much, but you are writing Hank very well. I like the fact that Scott and Cassie Lang are going to show up in this title. Cassie is my favorite Young Avenger. It's good to see her get some face time in this universe. The story kept me on my edge of my seat. I really liked this issue. It's one of my favorites on the site. I won't say anything else about the storyline so it won't be spoiled.

Thanks very much for the review Electric, I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I'mm a big fan of Pym and of Cassie and Scott so they'll all be turning up at various points. I'm making Cassie his 'sidekick'.

Hope you stick around for the next issue and all those to come after it.

Your Welcome. It's the one Fan Fiction site that I keep up with. Yellowjacket's defiantely my favorite solo character series that I have tried out. Keep up the great work.

Okay, so I think that this little area of the fan fiction world has been slightly ignored and isolated. It has the same regular updating schedule as Marvel Omega and it also has many of the same staff on board, including many alumni and veteran writers from here in our own backyard of the House of Ideas. Scott Redmond, Mitch Crane, Jan Oudshoorn, Anthony Crute and myself (Gavin Devlin) all have regular titles on the site and we would be greatful for your report.

This thread hasn't been updated since August '09 but as of now it will be updated whenever the site is updated itself.

· Heroes For Hire #2, by Josh Reynolds
"Round Three"

· Tales to Astonish #5, by David Golightly
"A Flock of Souls" · featuring Cloak & Dagger

· Winter Guard #2, by Gavin Devlin
"Red Warzone, Part Two: One Moment in Time"

· X-Factor #5, by Brent Lambert
"Doom's Invitation"

· X-Men Unlimited #4, by Brent Lambert
"More Than Just Thieves" Part One · featuring Weapon X

Marvel Anthology is not just an archive of stories, but it is a hub of creativity and as such there is a constant welcome and search for any aspiring writers to step in. Marvel Anthology offers a wide range of titles to choose from here in the Submissions section of the site, http://ma.bhyphen.com/submissions.html. Whether you have submitted work or not is irrelevant, just follow the easy guideline.

This thread has been left abandoned but the site is not gone, nor anywhere near it. Both Scott Redmond and myself will be adding titles to it in the not so distant future in the form of the Big Hero 6 and X.S.E respectively.

All support and feedback is welcome.

Thank you,
Gavin Devlin

Great job at updating this Gavin :). I almost forgot this thread was here for the site. I definitely recommend that anyone that hasn't checked out this site and the titles, do so. Marvel Anthology is a very well run site and a very well put together site. Everything flows and comes together in a way the enhances all the stories. Each family or grouping of titles is well planned out with the writers keeping things fresh and interconnected to give you that full universe feeling. I need to get my but in gear on Astonishing and my part of Avengers (going to be co-writing that title now as well) so that I can start getting Big Hero 6 out there full of fun and monsters and the Japanese super team you either love or never heard of lol.

Admittedly I have done a poor job updating this thread but with access to a laptop at home again it will be more frequent, I promise because these people deserve it. So I am back with another fine update from the writers at Marvel Anthology, and I hope you fine people of UXN can five this little site the opportunity it deserves, with its brilliant stories and ever-expanding range of titles and genres.

As the summer is now one us, we have had another update from Marvel Anthology. (Albeit posted over here a little late). So why not shoot over and give some of these works a quick read.

We have the conclusion to Alpha Flight and they have to face themselves in order to survive the experience. Take a trip through reality with our specialised agents of A.R.M.O.R. Our cosmic power super-family is rearing to go once again in the Fantastic Four. Force Works is up to some shady business but it must be done, the question is can they do it? Ever wonder about Gambit's heritage? The Guild is explored from it's roots!

MAY 21, 2010

"A New World Administration, Part Four"

·
A.R.M.O.R #2, by Brent Lambert

Amazing Spider-Man is back, and Thornley's preparing him for the fight of his life as some of his oldest foes around about to strike their axes. Kraven and family are making a stand. Astonishing X-Men develops a very new, very intimate team dynamic in this one shot issue. Banshee, Kitty Pryde and Longshot are on the case of the murders in Chicago. Someone's gonna pay. Nigthwing and his team are back in the Defenders, but is that actually going to prove to be a good thing? Big things are going down. Starjammers returns to active circulation, the title that began in our very own Earth-617 has found a new home to continue the stories of Captain Corsair and his motley crew! Heading to Russia and the Winter Guard, we're about to learn things are not getting any easier as democracy continues to fall. In Amazing Adventures of the 1970s: Inhumans, we are introduced to the expanding alternate reality branch of the site and the plight of Medusa as she tries to make things right before heading back to her people.

JULY 22, 2010

·
Amazing Spider-Man #6, by Tony Thornley
"Prey Behaviour"

·
Astonishing X-Men #4, by Scott Redmond
"Life Isn't Like CSI"

·
The Defenders #5, by Ed Ainsworth
"Clash of the Titans"

·
Starjammers #1, by Mitch Crane
"Into the Unknown, Part One - Renegades"

·
Winter Guard #3, by Gavin Devlin
"Red Warzone, Part Three - Revelations"

· Amazing Adventures of the 1970s: Inhumans #1, by Scott Casper and Morgan Abbot
"You Never Saw the Real Me"

We look forward to hearing what anyone has to say and we hope that you enjoy what we've been providing. Marvel Anthology also encourages writers to grab their pens and join in, guidelines on how to do this are on the submissions page. Plenty of big events are planned, we hope you'll stick with us as we move through them.

I have a question. Do I need to read the archive titles to read the main title or limited series?

No, reading Archive'd pieces are at your own discretion. Series that have been completed and moved into the archive are runs that have been finished and completed. The storylines rarely carry over into the current, ongoing series. For example, consider the likes of AVENGERS in the archive is volume one of that series, whilst the current AVENGERS is volume two.

I hope that helps.
