Well to be fair to Wells, Clayton is the one credited with the idea...Which makes it interesting, because if he thought of it then I'm prepared for a very creepy comic...

Also to be fair, changing the person wearing the symbiote is a way to reinvent the character in a way. To play off of how they deal with having a killer symbiote on them. I also didn't see anything about a female Carnage in the announcement, I totally most have missed that.

Are we doing 1995 again?     I just don't see how it even matters if the Carnage symbiote is intact without the over the top psycho inside him.

I think he has a very interesting take on it...especially to see how this symbiote was influenced by Cassidy to be evil..

Yeah the Carnage symbiote is now as psychotic as Cassidy was.  and now it might be bonding with a less psychotic person.

Carnage did have a backstory.  It was towards the end of Maximum Carnage.  I really don't understand why so many people couldn't get through that series.  It is long but I found it to be very entertaining. 
My cousin: I didn't like Terminator 2 it didn't have good characacter development.
My Brother: Oh! V for Vendetta doesn't have good character development!
