During the Acts of Vengeance, the Assembly of Evil was gathered by one of Doctor Doom's robotic dopplegangers to further torment the Avengers. Cloak and Dagger were mistaken for super-villains and invited to join. They helped defeat the Assembly from within.
Other members unrelated to the X-Men include Doom's robot, Jester, Rock, Hydro-Man, and the Cosmic Hulk robot.
