Powers and Abilities:
manipulate magnetic currents to gain total control over all forms of electromagnetism, allowing him to levitate and manipulate all objects made of metal, project concussive blasts and force fields, selectively generate heat and electricity, manipulate bloodflow to the brain to cause aneurysms or unconsciousness, and increase his power to absorb cold and electricity

Notes:
Magneto was first called "Magnus" in Uncanny X-Men #161. He was first called "Erik Lehnsherr" in Uncanny X-Men #304, but that was proven an alias in X-Men (2nd series) #73. He became the White King in New Mutants (1st series) #51, and the Grey King in #75. He posed as Erik the Red in Uncanny X-Men #350 and as the Professor's cousin "Michael Xavier" from New Mutants (1st series) #35-75. His real name was finally revealed in X-Men: Magneto Testament #1.
