Following their wedding in X-Men (2nd series) #30, Scott Summers & Jean Grey's honeymoon was interrupted when their minds were transported into the future by the Askani sisterhood to help raise Scott's son, Nathan Cristopher, the "Askani'Son."
The Askani'Son miniseries following a teenage Cable service as a technical sequel, while a thematic sequel was published a few years later as "the Further Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix."
