COSTUME GALLERY
1) In his early appearances, the Blob had no distinguishing costume. Instead, he wore a simple set of trunks while leaving himself otherwise completely naked. [X-Men (1st series) #3]
2) Upon joining Mystique’s Brotherhood, Blob adopted his first and most recognizable look. He wore a simple, black leotard held up by sleeveless straps, with a yellow line encircling his belly. This costume would go through several variants over the years. Originally with bare hands and feet, Blob soon added black boots and wristbands to the look. When he joined Freedom Force, a stylized “FF” insignia was occasionally shown on his belly. On certain missions, his costume was slightly more elaborate with golden triangle designs on each shoulder, like the shadow of an epaulet. [X-Men (1st series) #141]
3) With the X-Corps, Blob wore a more military like uniform that amounted to him actually wearing pants. [Uncanny X-Men (1st series) #402]
--) Blob tended to default back to his classic look between costumes. He lost his fat in the Decimation, leaving loose and saggy skin folds over everywhere. After being repowered, he either wore specially fitted civilian clothes or his black leotard in most appearances.
4) With the new Mutant Liberation Front, Blob returned to a version of his old strongman leotard. The suit was made of several levels of blue and white fabric, with gold trim at the shoulders. He wore boots and wrist bands made of blue material with gold highlights as well. [Uncanny Avengers (4th series) #1]
