Overview: 

This third X-Factor series began the year after Peter David's Madrox miniseries, which served as test series for a relaunched X-Factor. Title switched to legacy numbering after #50, becoming #200 with the next issue. This numbering ignored the four issues of X-Factor (2nd series).

Series was eventually canceled with #262, after which it was replaced with All-New X-Factor.
