In the Moira IX timeline, Cardinal was a third generation Chimera mutant produced by Sinister's breeding pens. His genetic material came from Grey, Wagner, and Freeman samples. However, instead of warrior-class, he was from a reoccurring anomaly that produced absolute pacifist mutants. These Chimera all collectively adopted the moniker "Cardinal".
