The Witness is shrouded in mystery. The first Witness was supposedly an aged Remy LeBeau from Bishop's timeline, seen in Uncanny X-Men #287. Another version of the Witness was seen in the Chronomancer's timeline, from Bishop: the Last X-Man. This entry refers only to the character who has appeared in the present timeline.
