Limbo is an eternal dimension where stepping disks connect different points in space and time. It is apparently distinct and separate from Immortus's Limbo. Ruled for centuries by the displaced human sorcerer Belasco, he was eventually displaced by his student Illyana Rasputin, Magik, who in turn later fought for control with her subjects, S'ym and Nastir'h. After the death of the previous major players, Limbo fell into disarray under Amanda Sefton became the second Magik. She has since been cast out, and Belasco, Magik, and Belasco's daughter Witchfire are once again warring for control.
