A splinter group of the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Galactic Guardians were conceived by GotG founder Martinex as the first of many franchise teams to legitimately guard the entire galaxy.
Other members unrelated to the X-Men include Martinex, Replica, Hollywood, Spirit of Vengeance, Mainframe, and Firelord.
