Halo City Protectorate

When the X-Men of 2099 forged an alliance with President Doom, a mecca for the mutants, degens, and unwanted of the era was forged in the American Southwest, called Halo City. The X-Men were named the official Protectorate and guardians of Halo City during its operation.
