When the Superhuman Registration Act was passed, Ms. Marvel agreed to lead the official Avengers team for Iron Man. In exchange, Stark allowed her to access S.H.I.E.L.D. resources and operatives for an independent strike time from her own Minicarrier. Carol remained in command of Operation: Lightning Storm until after the Skrull invasion, when she went rogue and joined the unregistered Avengers.
Other members include Sleepwalker and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents Sum, Baines and Locke.
