In the literal post-Apocalyptic future, an organization known as the New Canaanites rose to power after the death of Apocalypse, opposed by Nathan Dayspring and the Clan Chosen, representing the remains of the Askani and their ideals. Stryfe led a third faction, the Scions of the High Lord, who acted as anarchists against the Canaanite ruling order, as Stryfe attempted to reclaim his "birthright" as the heir to Apocalypse.
