Martin Henry Strong ran a mutant experimentation program from his corporation, including both benevolent treatments for mutants afflicted by their powers and dangerous procedures to invade and potentially dissect mutant bodies to gather further information on their condition. His endeavors originally had the public face of the Foundations outreach program, and were occasionally referred to as StrongH.O.L.D. as well.
