The Technet is a group of time-travelling, cross-dimensional mercenaries led by Gatecrasher. Occasionally portrayed as bumbling oafs, they were actually highly effective and respected in their heyday. The Technet are destined in the future to become part of a similar organization named the Special Executive, which actually appeared on Earth-616 first thanks to the peculiarities of time travel.
