This loose association combines two groups. First are the renegade test subjects of the latest Weapon X Program, run out of the Paradise facility for the Arcadian corporation. Used as guinea pigs for various enhancements, these subjects have an expiration date that will kill them early.
Second are various superhumans with healing factors who were allegedly experimented on by Paradise as well and implanted with "control phrases". The first group hopes to synthesize the healing powers of the second in order to save their lives, while the second group is relying on the first to help them remove the control phrases.
We're not calling them the Wolverines.
