X-Men Omnibus Vol. 1
Stan Lee, Roy Thomas (Writers); Jack Kirby, Werner Roth, Alex Toth, Jack Sparling (Artists)
In these stories, X-Men creators Stan Lee and Jack Kirby introduced Marvel readers to the mutant mythos, a universe populated with teens struggling through newfound powers that were unusual to say the least. The first issue premiered with the tagline "The Strangest Super-Heroes Of All!", and early adopters of the comic had a ringside seat to the formation of characters that would stand the test of time.
