Direct continuation of the Mighty Captain Marvel series, which ended the previous month. Along with removing the "Mighty" adjective, this new Captain Marvel series utilized a legacy numbering system. However, the numbering was based on Carol Danvers' titles, rather than titles with the name Captain Marvel. (see below)

#116-124 = Mighty Captain Marve #1-9 (2017)
As this title's numbering did not revert to a previous Captain Marvel series, this site considers this title to be a unique series and has numbererd it Captain Marvel (10th series).
