Harry Palmer and Josey Thomas were paramedics infested with Brood eggs. Unlike many Broodlings, they did not fully transform into Brood once the eggs hatched, but retained their human appearances and the power of transformation into their alien selves. Harry also carried a queen, allowing him to infest other people with Brood. He used his position as a paramedic to make contact with many new or latent mutants, creating a small army of mutant-powered Broodlings.
