Genoshan Magistrates

Magistrates operated under the old Genoshan government as a homeland police force and a military for overseas engagements. Primarily staffed with human Genoshans, some mutant patriots chose to work for the government voluntarily instead of undergoing the Mutate bonding process. Most operated in a separate strike team known as the Press Gang, but some (like the mind-altered Alex Summers) served in the regular ranks.

When Genosha's government fell, Magistrates became the primary fighting force for the anti-mutant camp in the civil war. Most are presumed dead following Magneto's takeover and the Wild Sentinel attack.
