Reavers

The Reavers are a team of cybernetic mercenaries, frequently based in Australia. The original Reavers were nearly destroyed by the X-Men in their first meeting, and forced through the Siege Perilous to be judge and reborn in new lives. Their three surviving members joined with several other cyborg foes of the X-Men to become the modern Reavers.

The Reavers were apparently wiped out in Uncanny X-Men (1st series) #281, but the majority have since returned in the pages of Domino and X-Treme X-Men. Since that time, both Donald Pierce and Lady Deathstrike have led teams of generic Reavers against mutantkind, employing both cyborg and human recruits.
