1) As the Right Commander, Hodge wore a canary yellow paramilitary uniform. It included a three-buttoned vest, pouches, holsters and even a helmet with a stylized version of the Right “smiley-face” design. He switched between different suits as needed with the Right, such as a suit made of ruby quartz to protect him against Cyclops, or a modified version of the smiley armor personalized for his use. His final suit had a fishbowl helmet and shoulder-mounted rocket launchers, among other toys. [X-Factor (1st series) #22]
2) After being decapitated by Archangel, Cameron Hodge’s still-living head was transplanted onto a massive scorpion-like cyborg body in Genosha. This form was complicated and painfully inconsistent in the way it was drawn from one artist to the next. It had between four and six arachnid-style legs and a large, scorpion-like tail equipped with ranged weapons in the stinger. However, sometimes the tail also folded down to let Hodge slither like a snake. Hodge’s human head typically rested atop a snake-like length of metal coils, with neuro-connective wires resembling hair extending from the back. [New Mutants (1st series) #95]
3) As a member of the Phalanx, Cameron Hodge's bio-mechanical body was now composed of techno-organic tissue. The wires on his head which were prominent from the Jim Lee artwork during the X-Tinction Agenda became a signature part of his design in Phalanx form, even if they no longer connected to anything. As a techno-organic shape-shifter, Hodge's physical proportions were variable. [Uncanny X-Men (1st series) #306]
