COSTUME GALLERY
1) The trio used the same costumes in modern times that they employed during World War II. The Crimson Commando was covered from the neck down with crimson spandex, with gloves, boots, a domino mask and a kerchief in the same color. He also wore a white utility belt. Stonewall wore mauve and yellow costume with a trim resembling a castle’s parapets. He also had a brown belt and wrist bands. Finally, Super Sabre wore a blue body suit with a white slashing saber on his chest. He also had brown boots, gloves and an aviator’s mask and goggles. [Uncanny X-Men (1st series) #215]
2) When he returned to an active war zone in the Middle East, Crimson Commando adopted a more combat-ready costume. It looked sturdier all around, with armored shoulder pads and a protective helmet. He was also equipped with a combat knife, pistol, infrared goggles, throat microphone and a wrist-mounted computer sensor. [New Mutants Annual #7]
3) Cyborg X had four cybernetic limbs made of variable shape-changing components, able to assume a number of forms. They were accented by Army green kneepads, shoulder pads and panels across their surface. He also wore a simple black shirt with a belt, chest straps and cod piece. Finally, a combination of mask and cybernetic helmet covers his skull, with artificial sensors replacing his traditional human sensory organs. [Spider-Man (1st series) #18]
4) As Commando, Bohannon abandoned the more experimental shape-changing bionics in favor of basic mechanical replacement parts. His legs were fully replaced by sturdy cybernetic limbs while his right arm ended in a permanent gun appendage. The rest of his body was fully covered at all times, hiding the degree of residual damage to his organics. He wore a suit of red and maroon material, with an arrow shape pointing up his mask and a star on his forehead. Commando had his left eye replaced by a cybernetic sensor with various applications.
