Danielle was called Psyche in New Mutants (1st series) #1. She later settled on Mirage in New Mutants (1st series) #22. She became a Valkyrie in New Mutants Special #1 and assumed the name "Moonstar" in X-Force (1st series) #27.

The codename Spellbinder was only used once, in X-Men vs Micronauts. It was not in the actual story, but only in the introductory sidebar.

Moonstar merged with Warlock as part of the "Moonlock" techno-organic collective in New Mutants: Dead Souls #5. She inexplicably had regained her mutant powers by Uncanny X-Men (5th series) #12.
