First name revealed in Alpha Flight (1st series) #105, last name in X-Factor (1st series) #116.
Wild Child's latent mutant nature was initated by genes spliced from the assassin Wyre. When he became Weapon Omega in Alpha Flight (1st series) #102, Kyle's mutation reverted to make him handsome, and he used drugs to dull his bloodlust and animal instincts. He later stopped using the drugs and found a comfortable medium between man and beast as Wildheart in #120. Prior to X-Factor (1st series) #112, however, he reverted back to his former self and became Wild Child once more. As of Deadpool: Agent of Weapon X #1, Kyle's mutation was altered once more -- by the Weapon X Program -- giving him a hairless and horrific visage, slightly greater physical prowess, and was mute.
Powerloss confirmed in New Avengers #18, but abilities apparently restored by Romulus in Wolverine (3rd series) #50-55. Wild Child was killed fighting Wolverine and Omega Red in Wolverine: Origins #39.He was alive again on Krakoa in Hellions #1.
