While running the Hand from Shadowland, Daredevil recruited Colleen Wing into the Hand, putting her in charge of an all-women strike team called the Nail. Colleen's mother had previously operated with the Nail decades earlier.
Other members unrelated to the X-Men include Makro, Cherry Blossom, Black Lotus and Yuki.
