Captain Marvel VI (Commander Carol Danvers)

First Appearance: Marvel Super-Heroes (1st series) #13

Powers: Superhuman strength, speed, agility, endurance, reflexes, durability, healing powers, harness anti-gravitons for flight, photonic blasts that can be tailored for light, heat, or explosive release, energy absorption abilities that can augment her existing power levels, able to summon her costume at will

Notes: While serving as the commander of the Alpha Flight Space Station, Carol also maintained membership with the Avengers.

Aurora (Jeanne-Marie Beaubier)

First Appearance: X-Men (1st series) #120

Powers: Harness random atomic motion in her body to create uni-directional thrust, allowing her to fly at supersonic speeds, increased durability, reflexes, and perceptional acuity to utilize her speed effectively, occasionally capable of generating blinding light alone or with her brother

Notes: Aurora's skills aboard the AFSS included a good understanding of linguistics. Aurora departed the AFSS, presumably due to the mistrust of Carol Danvers during the superhuman civil war, and transferred to NASA, although she would assist the AFSS crew on occasion.

Sasquatch (Dr. Walter Langkowski)

First Appearance: X-Men (1st series) #120

Powers: Gamma mutate able to assume the form of Tanaraq, the Great Beast, gaining superhuman strength, agility, stamina, resistance to physical injury, animalistic senses, and razor sharp claws

Notes: Despite Walter being a brilliant scientist, he never appeared in his human form during his time aboard the AFSS until he was killed on Earth. Upon his resurrection, Walter had his Sasquatch abilities drained from him and was appointed by Captain Marvel to a Gamma Flight division of the AFSS, tasked with locating the Hulk.

Puck (Eugene Milton Judd)

First Appearance: Alpha Flight (1st series) #1

Powers: Genetic mass compression gives him incredible molecular density and superhuman strength, endurance, and durability

Lt. Cmdr Abigail Brand

First Appearance: Astonishing X-Men (3rd series) #3

Powers: Mutant - alien hybrid with thermal powers, able to generate intense heat from her hands hot enough to melt metal

Notes: Brand served as Captain Marvel's second-in-command aboard the AFSS, which often put the two women at odds with each other. This was particularly because Alpha Flight had risen to replace SWORD, the previous space agency Brand had run.

Lt. Gwendolyn “Wendy” Kawasaki

First Appearance: Captain Marvel (7th series) #9

Powers: None, human

Notes: Wendy's role aboard the AFSS was as a science officer

Dr. Tempest Bell

First Appearance: Avengers (6th series) #0

Powers: None, human

Notes: Speciality is astrobiology. Wore a unique yellow AFSS uniform

Ensign Jane Garcia

First Appearance: Captain Marvel (9th series) #1

Powers: None, human

Notes: At some point, Garcia was replaced by a shapeshifting member of the alien race known as Eridani called Lira, but the real Garcia later returned

unnamed Cat Doctor

First Appearance: Captain Marvel (9th series) #3

Powers: None, cat

Notes: The unique cat doctor is unfortunately never named during their appearances

Dante Cruz

First Appearance: Mighty Captain Marvel #5

Powers: None, human

Notes: Technically, Dante's first appearance was in the prose novel “Black Widow: Forever Red.” Dante is a skilled swordsman

Glory

Notes: Glory uses a pair of bionic legs

A'di

First Appearance: Mighty Captain Marvel #5

Powers: None, human

Notes: A'di is the niece of the Black Panther. A'di is accompanied by a drone called Itz

Terry Friffton

Notes: Terry is a failed fashion designer. Terry is not terribly suited for his role as a receptionist
