1) When Doug joined the New Mutants, he received the standard black and gold team uniform. He wore this costume during most of his time with the team. [New Mutants (1st series) #27]
2) Cypher’s teammate Warlock would often take the form of sophisticated battlesuits or armored tanks in order to protect Doug during combat. While not a costume in the traditional sense, Cypher reveled in the chance to play an active part in battle that “wearing” Warlock provided. This is an example of the type of battlesuits that Warlock would create for Cypher. [New Mutants Special Edition #1]
3) After their traumatic experiences at the Beyonder’s hands, Cypher and his teammates were sent to Emma Frost for help and briefly joined her team of Hellions. During this brief period, he wore the typical Hellion training uniform: a tight, v-necked suit in two shades of magenta with a white triangle symbol over the heart. [New Mutants (1st series) #39-40]
4) After the X-Men were abducted by Mojo, the New Mutants donned their “graduation costumes” to rescue the senior team. Cypher’s uniform consisted of a silver/blue bodysuit with a full head cowl and grey visor reminiscent of Cyclops’ classic costume. The visor featured a pink lens and some kind of built-in communication device judging from the small antenna that protruded from one side. Over the bodysuit, Doug wore a very utilitarian gray/white leather vest with matching belt and wrist cuffs. The vest was heavily padded and may have been bullet-proof. A pair of silver/blue buccaneer style boots completed the outfit. The New Mutants sometimes opted to wear these uniforms on occasions where a mask was needed to conceal their identities. [Uncanny X-Men Annual #10, New Mutants (1st series) #54-55]
5) After being resurrected by Eli Bard, Doug kept it simple by wearing a black turtleneck top and dark blue pants [X-Necrosha #1]
6) Upon joining the New Mutants again, Doug adopted their signature uniform consisting of a dark blue bodysuit that features a large yellow X across the torso. He complimented this look with yellow boots and gloves. [New Mutants (3rd series) #9]
7) When Doug temporarily joined X-Force, he wore a black and grey bodysuit that matched the rest of the team. [X-Force (3rd series) #27]
8) Joining X-Factor, Doug wore the teams signature uniform that consisted of a yellow and grey bodysuit, which had a motif of a cat on the chest to signify they were working for Serval Industries. He occasionally wore a pair of yellow glasses, similar the the rest of the team's. [All-New X-Factor #8]
9) Upon travelling to Krakoa and helping set up the island base, Doug wore a dark blue, full-body suit that had a similar design to his previous New Mutants uniform. On top of this he wore a yellow, collared jacket, which was missing the right arm, allowing his Warlock-coated arm to show. Added to this, he wore yellow boots and gloves, as well as a belt with numerous pouches on. [Powers of X #1]
