The Friends of Humanity was an anti-mutant movement organized by Graydon Creed. They operated on several different levels, including the public face of the group that held rallys and recruited people to the cause, and the covert branch which used advanced technology to strike out at mutants in secret. Graydon Creed publically distanced himself from the more-radical Friends groups while running for President of the United States, and after his assassination the Friends became less organized and eventually stopped operating publically.
