After Department H disbanded, Alpha Flight remained together as independent super-heroes, but the trainee teams of Beta Flight and Gamma Flight were left out in the cold. Jerry Jaxon took advantage of their rejection, using an Influencer device to enhance their negative emotions and prod them into joining his criminal Omega Flight. Following the deaths of Jaxon and his robot assistant, Delphine Courtney, most of Omega Flight eventually reformed to rejoin Alpha.
