Danger Room Discs:
While there are several missions available in the Danger Room for you to practice, the majority of the Danger Room simulations are found on minidiscs and located in various places around the X-Mansion and other places you will travel to throughout the course of X-Men Legends. You will need to find every disc and complete it satisfactorily to obtain the Legends Challenge disc, the final test of your mutant abilities.

Each set of Danger Room challenges is divided by grade. You begin the game as a Freshman, and will have to progressively work your way through each Qualifying Exam to increase your grade. You must obtain a certain number of credits (outlined in the Course Description at the right side of the screen in the Danger Room setup mode) before taking the Qualifying Exam, and you must obtain each of the Qualifying Exam discs in the field. After satisfactory completion of the Qualifying Exam 100, you will increase in grade to Sophomore, then to Junior, Senior, X-Man, and Legend, in that order.

In addition, any items you find in the Danger Room including health and energy packs and equipment is yours to keep, along with any experience you may earn.

The missions are divided by sections. When you begin a mission, you are on Section 1, and each time your system pauses to load a new area, you will have advanced to Section 2, Section 3, and thereafter. The area name of each disc's location is included where a name is available. The discs are located, in the order you should find them, as follows:
