Behind the scenes, the Exiles organization went through a number of changes. Operatives like Sage and Sabretooth eventually went home to their realities of origin. The Age of Apocalypse reality was utterly annihilated by Celestial Exterminators, with Mr. Creed dying in the conflict. Although Blink's reaction to this is unknown, she did take time off from the Exiles at some point, traveling to Earth-616 in order to explore her roots. The Bahamas had been devastated during Apocalypse's take over of her world, but this Earth's West Indies were still intact. Clarice found Earth-616's version of her Aunt Sandra, and began a relationship with the only family (one reality removed) that she still had left.
Blink was called back to action when she received a summons from the Moon. She teleported to the Blue Area and discovered the Tallus being guarded by a cloaked figure known only as the Unseen. Clarice was warned of an imminent threat to all reality known as the Time-Eater, who was swallowing entire universes in its path. Reluctantly drafted as a multiversal defender yet again, Blink wore the Tallus as it carried her to new realities. In two timelines, 40 years and 1000 years into the future respectively, she met her newest Exiles -- a battle-hardened Kamala Khan who spent decades in dystopian warfare, and a teenaged Nathaniel Richards, who had just become Iron Lad after stealing his neuro-kinetic armor from his future counterpart, Kang the Conqueror. [Exiles (3rd series) #1]
Blink, Khan and Iron Lad were soon joined by Valkyrie and Wolvie as well. However, each new member was added to the Exiles shortly before the Time-Eater arrived to consume their home reality. Presenting as a zombie engine of Galactus' head, the Time-Eater left a void of nothingness in its wake, as the Exiles stayed one jump ahead of their threat, returning to the Unseen as their team was completed. Iron Lad postulated that the Time-Eater was like a serpent swallowing realities whole, and their homeworlds hadn't truly been "digested" yet, giving the Exiles time to restore the lost realities. Before they could figure out how, however, a group of Watchers arrived intent on aggressively imposing their own rules on non-interference onto the Unseen and the Exiles. In the following struggle, the Tallus was damaged, sending the Exiles back out into the multiverse. [Exiles (3rd series) #2]
Blink and the Exiles followed a disjointed path through different dimensions as the Tallus tried to recalibrate its damaged navigation. On one world, Clarice ran into Morph, who told her the other original Exiles were still out there, scattered in the multiverse and unable to reunite. Morph was seemingly lost to the Time-Eater, who continued to haunt the Exiles' path. They visited different worlds in different times, such as fighting beside Captain Carter and Becky during World War II or Blackbeard the pirate in the 18th century. Eventually, the Tallus managed to divert them to the lair of the Time-Eater himself. The Exiles discovered the Time-Eater was actually Iron Lad's future self, a version of Kang the Conqueror. [Exiles (3rd series) #3-4]
This incarnation of Kang had stolen the power of Galactus many times over, merging the urge for conquest with a hunger for worlds until he began to consume entire realities. Kang toyed with the Exiles long enough for them to escape him temporarily and formulate a plan. Iron Lad theorized a paradox would result if the Tallus was brought back in time to the point the Exiles reformed, wiping out the Time-Eater timeline and restoring the lost universes. Even if it worked, however, their universes would be reformed whole, complete with versions of the Exiles. These Exiles would truly become "unhinged in time," as separate versions of them would continue to exist in their home realities. Still, Blink and the Exiles committed to the plan, assisted by a version of Nick Fury, who emerged from one of the time portals in Kang's stronghold, summoned by the Tallus specifically for this purpose.
Victory would not come without a price, though, as Valkyrie and Iron Lad gave their lives so that Blink, Khan and Fury could make it to the first time portal. The Tallus gave Fury a homing instinct to find the portals in each dimension necessary to complete their journey, but they still had to walk it. Kang sent an army of Kang doppelgangers after the Exiles, but Blink and the Exiles received reinforcements of their own in the form of Sabretooth. Somehow having survived the destruction of the Age of Apocalypse, Mr. Creed and Clarice were reunited for this final fight. This time, it was Khan who sacrificed herself so that Blink, Creed and Fury could make it through the last portal. Fury deposited the Tallus at the feet of the Unseen, completing the paradox, but Blink and Sabretooth were sent on separate journeys in that final portal.
Clarice emerged alone at a crossroads of time, the first of many Blinks and Clarice Fergusons who soon emerged in the same manner. The Champion of the Multiverse found herself a legion, not only of her own doppelgangers but of the various allies she and the Exiles had made along the way. They erupted into Kang's lair, fighting alongside Iron Lad, Valkyrie and Wolvie, who were also alive again thanks to the paradox in effect draining Kang's power. This united force overpowered Kang as he grew weaker, until eventually he fled before their might, merely a conqueror once more. Although Khan was truly gone, the Exiles had restored their home worlds and the rest of the multiverse. The Unseen appeared to warn them that there were scars throughout the multiverse after effects of the Time-Eater's rampage which would need fixing, but for now Blink and the Exiles needed to recover and mourn their lost friend. [Exiles (3rd series) #5]
After the conflict with the Time-Eater, Blink and the Exiles retired to the Bahamas-616 for rest and recuperation. Aunt Sandra had a friend who rented a house to the team for living quarters, and they helped around the island with repairs for damage from the last hurricane to earn their keep. After some recovery time, though, Clarice was still worried about her lost teammates from the original Exiles. Her new team agreed to aid her in her quest, and together their united willpower spoke to the Tallus, taking them to a new dimension.
In a reality set in the era of the Wild West, the Exiles found a town being exploited by gunslinger Erik Magnus and this Earth's version of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Blink and her people defended the town and learned Morph and Nocturne had been through there in the past few days. They formed a posse with T'Challa, a gunfighter from Wakanda who went by "King" to find the outlaws' hideout and their friends. The situation was made more difficult by Pastor Xavier, a telepath who brainwashed Morph and T.J. to serve him as well as influencing Magnus's outlaws. In the shootout that followed, Magnus, Xavier and most of the outlaws were killed, but Morph and Valkyrie's horse Elendil died as well. Clarice and T.J. were reunited only to mourn the loss of their friend, the three earliest Exiles who came together thanks to the Timebroker. [Exiles (3rd series) #6-7]
The Watchers' Tribunal soon summoned the Exiles back to the Moon, along with their "accomplices" King and Captain Carter & Becky. The Tribunal put the Unseen and the Exiles on trial for intervening in other realities without their approval or authorization, a kangaroo court where the outcome was clearly preordained by the judges. Blink and the Exiles managed to break free, and the Tallus reacted to their predicament by transporting the Exiles and their new allies to a new universe. [Exiles (3rd series) #8] Clarice and the others were caught up in a reality based on the tales of Arabian Nights, and T.J. wound up being declared khalifa of a kingdom. Nocturne decided to stay behind in this reality and fulfill the responsibilities thrust upon her. Morph's death had left her weary of constant dimensional travel, and she wanted to set down roots for a time. Blink accepted her wishes and left her oldest teammate to her new life. [Exiles (3rd series) #9-10]
Although the Tallus returned them to Earth-616, Blink and the Exiles faced an eerily familiar threat. Khan was alive, saved and recruited by the Watchers Tribunal to lead a team of evil Exiles as counterparts to Blink's team. They had promised to return her lost husband and daughter to her if she brought in Blink. Clarice's team was outmatched at first and teleported to safety, but Blink realized her Aunt Sandra was in danger. Blink's Exiles and Khan's Exiles fought again at the beach house, and this time Clarice had her team switch up opponents so they weren't fighting their direct counterparts. Given a chance to talk, Blink and Wolvie got Khan to relent in her quest, but the Watchers only teleported their Exiles away. [Exiles (3rd series) #11]
Seeking a resolution, Blink teleported her team back to the Moon to confront the Tribunal. The Watchers assaulted the Exiles by imprisoning them in their own worst timelines. Blink was still linked to her Tallus, however, and was able to escape her reconstruction of the old Age of Apocalypse. Clarice found her way to Iron Lad, but he reasoned the Tallus alone wouldn't have enough power to free them all. Nate believed he could overload the Tallus with his armor, expelling the temporal particles, and with them the Exiles. However, he would have to remain behind in his own worst timeline to achieve this. Despite Blink's protests, Iron Lad insisted on going through with his sacrifice, returning the Exiles to the fight.
As the Exiles prepared to take up arms again, the real Watchers arrived. They imprisoned the Tribunal as renegade zealots, leaving the Exiles and the Unseen to continue on as they were before this all started. Blink and her team were forced to have another funeral in too short a span of time, mourning Iron Lad's tragic fate. Still, it wasn't all bad -- Khan came to Clarice in her dreams and told her Nate had fulfilled the Tribunal's promise as part of his sacrifice, giving Khan a happy life with her family. He had also arranged for Khan to return the Tallus to Blink, fully restored and capable of allowing the Exiles to fight on. King, Captain Carter and Becky had found a new home with the team, and so the full team remained in the Bahamas, on call for whenever the multiverse needed Blink and her group of Exiles to put right what once went wrong.
