Note: The Marvel Handbooks refer to her as Midget, but the character was never named on-panel before Avengers West Coast #81; there she is called Scintilla.

Powers: Energy collector able to absorb outside sources of energy and convert it to his own use, radiating electrical fire from his supercharged cells, using it to blind his opponents, project lightning-like energy bolts, and focus energy releases for protective shields or flight.

Note: Flashfire and Oracle married and retired from the Guard in Inhumans (3rd series) #3-4. They resurfaced with the team, and Realm #4 confirmed their relationship failed to work out.

Impulse

Powers: Non-humanoid organism, roughly the size and shape of a heart, that produces enormous amounts of bio-concussive energy. He resides within a containment suit that fills out to give him human proportions and focuses his energies into destructive discharges from his visor or hands.

Powers: gene-vat bred Lupak with heightened strength, speed, agility, and reflexes, animal-like senses, razor edged finger talons, and a phantom gland that exists invisibly and remotely from his body while slightly out of phase with this universe. This serves as his only vital organ and thus he can regenerate from lethal amounts of damage so long as the gland remains intact, and even after the total destruction of his body, a cloned double can be created that accesses his soul and memories from the surviving gland.

Note: Versions of Fang died in UXM #162, Excalibur #70, and UXM #480. Wolverines #11 confirmed that the first Fang is still active and has in fact "died" multiple times, only to recover due to his unique alien physiology.

Powers: Telepathic powers enable her to read and project thoughts, stun others into unconsciousness, create psychic shields, and alter the natural flow of mental energy in sentient beings to create illusions, re-write memories, and control the actions of others.

Note: Thanos #10 established that Oracle went temporarily insane after being infected by the madness of the Maker, or Beyonder. This retroactively explained why she appeared naked, gibbering, and fetal in New X-Men #124.

All Imperial Guard appearances: X-Men (1st series) #107, X-Men Spotlight on ... Note: Mentor became a host for one of the Fraternity of Raptors in Realm #5, and was replaced with a female of his species in the Guard. That Superguardian never reappeared, and all subsequent appearances by Mentor seemed to be the original again, or at least male.

Gladiator (Kallark)

First Appearance: X-Men (1st series) #107

All Imperial Guard appearances: Classic X-Men #14, X-Men (1st series) #107, 109, 136-137, 155, 157, Rom Annual #4, X-Men Spotlight on ... Powers: Superhuman strength, speed, endurance, invulnerability to all forms of physical injury, enhanced optic nerves give him telescopic sight and heat vision that can melt through metals, increased lung capacity allows him to create gale force winds by exhaling, possesses the ability to survive unprotected in outer space and enter hyperspace travel, and self-propelled flight. His strength level depends on his confidence - the more confident he is the more powerful he becomes, but if he doubts himself he quickly weakens.

Note: Gladiator is the Imperial Guard’s Praetor (= leader)

Note: Neutron suffered what appeared to be a mortal wound in UXM #480 fighting Vulcan, but Realm of Kings: Imperial Guard #4 confirmed the "Neutron-class" Superguardian appearing in that series was the same dating back to Deathbird's era on the throne, circa UXM #157.

NOTE: Talon of the Fraternity of Raptors posed as the new Smasher recruit throughout Realm #1-5. Other appearances are presumably the real Smasher. It's not 100% clear that Superguardian Smasher was the one name Galin, whose death promoted Isabel Kane from Subguardian to Superguardian.

Powers: Draw additional mass from a subspatial source to geometrically increase his size, strength, and durability.

Note: Titan looked very dead in UXM #480, with a steaming hole erupting out of his chest and his eyes rolled back in his head. However, there was a "Titan-class" Superguardian back in action with the Guard far faster than any of the other Superguardian types killed by Vulcan in that battle. Another Titan was killed in Avengers (5th series) #23 during the Infinity event.
