X-Men Legacy (2nd series)
Publisher/Imprint:
Marvel
Publication Date:
November 2012 to May 2014
Issue Numbering:
#1-24
#300
Overview:

Author Simon Spurrier took up the characterization of Legion as it had started to be explored in the previous X-men Legacy but made the schizophrenic mutant the main character. Supporting cast included the romantic interest Blindfold and the book explored the mutant issue from a somewhat British perspective given Legion's heritage. Legion was much more fleshed out in this series and Spurrier would return to the character in the future. The almost psychedelic nature of Legion's powers in the writing and art could very well have helped inspire the character's portrayal in the Legion television show and certainly inspired his characterization in the comics moving forward.

Annuals / Specials:

X-men Legacy #300 - while returning to the numbering of X-men (2nd series) and X-men Legacy (1st series) this was really more like an issue 25 of Spurrier's series.

Legion (Limited Series) #1-5 - This mini series was part of Marvel Legacy and only sort of explained Legion's return given the conclusion of X-men Legacy.
