Important Events:
- In the wake of the death of most of Alpha Flight, a new team, Omega Flight, is formed, consisting of Sasquatch, Talisman, USAgent, Arachne III and Michael Pointer – the man responsible for killing Alpha Flight. [Omega Flight #1]
- Following the Decimation, the Scarlet Witch exiles herself to Wundagore, apparently with no memories. [New Avengers (1st series) #26]
- Quicksilver and Crystal's marriage is finally over, Quicksilver forbidden from seeing their daughter. [Silent War #3]
- Callisto, Marrow and other mutants form X-Cell, investigating the cause of M-Day and come into conflict with X-Factor Investigations and Quicksilver. [X-Factor (3rd series) #18]
- Psylocke re-appears in the Crystal Palace and subsequently joins the Exiles. [Exiles (1st series) #90, 95]

- Cable seemingly killed by Gambit and Sunfire at the instruction of Sinister, who was killing off precogs and those with connections to the future in his quest for the Messiah baby. [X-Men (2nd series) #200].
