1) In her numerous government roles, Val always maintained a high-sense of fashion, and whether she was arguing for the good during a meeting of the Commission on Super-Human Activity, meeting with John Walker the new Captain America, or as X-Factor's government liaison, Val always wore the latest in fashion, generally a two-piece power suit skirt and jacket combo, sometimes with a coat, and usually with accessories like a scarf and jewelery. [Uncanny X-Men (1st series) #176]
2) Occasionally active on field assignments over the years, Val usually wore some sort of jumpsuit. However as X-Factor's government liaison, she took a very hands-on approach with the team and when she joined them on missions, Val wore her own version of the standard team uniform, consisting of a blue spandex jumpsuit with a yellow panel across her upper body, marked with the red X. She wore blue gloves, and a short crop blue jacket that had a wide zip-collar and a yellow buckle at the top of her abdomen. [X-Factor (1st series) #78]
-) Although her official role as X-Factor's government liaison came to an end, Val continued to work closely with the team, and began wearing a new blue and yellow bodysuit. [X-Men: Prime] Shortly later, however, she had changed this bodysuit to an alternate version. [X-Factor (1st series) #122]
3) In her senior role with the Office of National Emergency in the wake of the de-powering of the majority of the world's mutant population, Val sometimes wore a standard O*N*E operative costume which consisted of a dark gray bodysuit and thigh-high light gray armor boots and chest plate. [X-Men: The 198 #3] Around the same time, Val also wore the standard green Sentinel Squad jumpsuit when working with the Sentinel Squad and during her many visits to the X-Men in the wake of the decimation of mutantkind. [Sentinel Squad O*N*E* #1]
