Series was an alternate take on the What If? concept by using a team of reality-hopping characters to explore these other realities. Some of the characters were from previous stories. Blink and Morph were from the Age of Apocalypse event (though this Morph was a different version of the AOA character). Nocturne had previously appeared in the X-Men: Millenial Visions oneshot.
Series was canceled with #100, after which it was relaunched as New Exiles.
