Overview: 

Prior to this title, Iron Man's adventures had been chronicled as a co-feature of Tales of Suspense (#39-99). As that title was renamed Captain America with #100, Iron Man's received his own title beginning with a #1.

The title ran for 28 years before it was canceled and relaunched as part of the Heroes Reborn event, in which it and three other titles were relaunched with fresh continuity for "reimagined" stories.
