Katherine Anne Summers

Nothing is known about the circumstances under which Air Force pilot Christopher Summers got to know his wife, Katherine Anne. Together they had two children, Scott and Alex Summers. After visiting Chris' parents in Alaska, the family's plane was suddenly attacked by aliens. The boys were strapped in the single parachute aboard and pushed to safety, while the couple was kidnapped by the Shi'ar visitors as Earth specimens. While Chris was put in the slave pens, Katherine was forced to serve as Shi’ar Emperor D’Ken’s pleasure maid for an unknown amount of time. When Chris escaped and attempted to kill D’Ken, Katherine was murdered in front of his eyes as punishment.

Mam’selle Hepzibah

Sentenced to serve in the mines, Christopher Summers had given up himself, until one day he saw the guards chasing and torturing a feline creature. The female Mephistoid named Hepzibah reached his broken spirit and he helped Hepzibah’s friends to rescue her from the guards. After escaping, the group stayed together and became the interstellar gang of pirates known as the Starjammers. Chris adopted the name Corsair and, in time, he and Hepzibah fell in love. They have been together ever since for about 15 years now, despite Hepzibah’s questionable morals. More than once, Hepzibah's hatred for the Shi’ar or her greed have influenced her actions, despite knowing that Corsair would not approve. When Corsair was killed by his son Vulcan, Hepzibah spent some time on Earth before she and her fellow Starjammers used illegal technology to bring Christopher back to life.
